A week-long civic program that places North Carolina high school students inside the state Senate to see firsthand how laws are made. Pages attend daily Senate sessions, assist in committee meetings, and support senators through the legislative week. Students receive a small stipend.
Open to North Carolina high school students in grades 10-12. Applicants must be sponsored by a member of the NC Senate (contact your senator for an application), and need principal approval to serve during the school year. Students receive a $150 stipend for the week.
